A Literal Translation of the New Testament

STRIPPED OF POWER

Last page update: 2024.02.03

If you believe in your heart that you are a born from above son or daughter of the one true God almighty, Jehovah, and a disciple of his firstborn son Christ Jesus, yet your life is still full of fear, confusion, chaos, illnesses, bad luck, failure, etc., then you are stripped of the power of God's gift of his paternal Spirit working IN and THROUGH you in your life, as it is intended to do.  You're not manifesting the nine manifestations (1 Cor. 12) of his Spirit in you as you should be.

You need to do a self-checkup from the neck up about what are the things are you thinking and believing in your mind, and saying with your mouth?

Your New Identity

Most people are subtly trained over a long period of time by the rhetoric they hear while attending their chosen Christian denominational outlet.  Some passages of the Bible are selectively read, over and over, while others are never introduced and explored.  If you're stripped of the power of God's Spirit working in your life then your chosen denominational outlet may have failed you, it's leaders may have failed you, or you have failed you.  Either you haven't heard what you need to hear, or you have heard it and refuse to believe it.  It's ultimately up to you to choose what to listen to, and to put it into your mind and believe it!  God is big enough to act, and he has already acted for us.  Now how do we react?  How we answer that question determines our own outcome.

It's up to preachers and teachers to build you up into a complete man or woman, into [the] measure of the fullness of the maturity of the Christ (Eph. 4:13), through what they preach and teach, and your responsibility to cooperate.  That's what preachers and teachers are supposed to do, right?  Either they're not teaching you and they have flunked, or they are teaching you and you've flunked.  But there's an easy solution.  You can reprogram what your thinking, believing, and saying.  You can go straight to what Jesus Christ and his apostles said and wrote, and skip the middle man.  And you won't be asked to pay for it, it's free here.

If you're sick and tired of the powerless Christianity in which you're living, you need to find yourself a new identity, the identity Christ Jesus has already assigned and given to you!  He first gave his chosen twelve a new identity, from being fishermen, tax collectors, etc., and then he gave the additional seventy disciples a new identities, and then he gave all others, ones who heard him preach and teach new identities, when they chose to hear, think, believe, and say those things they learned.  They fed their minds with what Jesus and his apostles and disciples preached and taught, and they transformed themselves (Rom. 12:2) out of their old full of fear and confusion identities into their new full of power, love and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7) identities.

The following passages describe your new identity and self-concept, about which you should be in the habit of thinking and doing, every day, all day long.  And these are the things you should be telling yourself and confessing out loud with your own mouth.  Not necessarily to others but at least to yourself.  These are the passages you need to feed on with your mind.  Soon after you begin retraining your mind with these Truths of God, you'll begin to see yourself changing, becoming more in charge of your life and situations around you.  Your fellowship with the God Jehovah and his son Christ Jesus will dramatically increase, and you'll begin having more fellowship, and of greater duration and depth.  They'll begin teaching you in dreams at night.  And perhaps you'll even be fortunate enough to hear either of them speaking audibly to you during the day, and or receive visions, as is common among God's children.  What?  You've never heard of the concept of father's talking with their children?

Please read these verses in the LIT, where there are no egomaniacal theological paraphrases by omniscient and all-knowing Bible producers.

Mat. 10:25; Eph. 4:13 - Either you haven't been taught it, or you've been taught out of it, out of the belief that you can become like Jesus Christ, manifesting God's Spirit in you also.

Acts 1:4-8; Rom. 10:9-10 - Have you actually received a new birth above in God's gift of his paternal holy Spirit?  If you have then why can't you manifest his Spirit in you (1 Cor. 12) and prove it too yourselves (2 Cor. 13:5)?  If you can and have manifested God's Spirit in you then you know the kind of joy about which Jesus was talking (John 16:23-24), and why the man sold everything he had to purchase that field in which he found a great treasure!

Rom. 8:9-11 - In this passage God's Spirit is referred to as Spirit of Christ, because God gave it to his son, and then his son, his agent, gives it / baptizes us in it, all those who believe upon Jesus' name (Mat. 3:11).  If you are no longer in flesh, but in Spirit, then you can and should be manifesting God's gift in you, else why do you have it.  Yes, question yourself, do you really have it?  If so then manifest it!  Prove it to yourself.  If you want to finally quit playing Christian, and quit playing church (social clubbing), then prove it to yourself as apostle Paul said (2 Cor. 13:5).

Rom. 8:37 - Are you consistently conquering over adversities in your life, conquering fear, worry, doubt, confusion, illnesses, demon spirit attacks (do you even notice them for what they are, or when they happen? Learn discerning of spirits, 1 Cor. 12), etc., then you haven't yet rose up to the level of the bar of discipleship, manifesting God's Spirit in you to do the things Christ Jesus did, and promised to you that you would do also (Mat. 17:20, John 14:12)!

1 Cor. 12:1-3 - Have you spoke in tongues yet?  In the book of Acts in almost every passage Luke wrote of a believer receiving a new birth above in God's gift of his paternal Spirit, that believer immediately spoke in tongues upon receiving it.  This is what apostle Paul is talking about, when he says speaking in Spirit of God.  This is the beginning of the part (chapter 12) of his letter he wrote to Corinthian believers preaching and teaching them that they should be manifesting God' gift in them in at least nine different ways, the nine manifestations.

1 Cor. 12:6 - God's gift in a believer can be manifested in nine different ways (1 Cor. 12:8-10).  Not every believer manifests all of them, but some do.  Different parts of Christ's one body have more specialized needs to manifest in some ways more than in other ways.

2 Cor. 2:14 - Are you always being led triumphantly in your life by your heavenly Father, the God?  If not, why not?  That's the level of the bar, always being triumphant in your life conquering over everything adverse to you in your spiritual walk of life.  If you need something in your life then follow the BAT principle (Mat. 7:7, and elsewhere), Believe your heavenly Father wants you to have all of your needs met by him, and then Ask him to supply them to you, or help you acquire the means to get them for yourself (knowledge, skill, talent, etc.), and then Thank him for doing so.  Once you get into the habit of praying for the things you need, and thanking him for them, then he will get into the habit of always choreographing things behind the scenes for you to supply for you those things you need, even before you ask for them.  That's why when you need something, and then suddenly, like magic it happens or appears for you, it's because you've developed your level of fellowship with your heavenly Father to the point of rising up to the level of the bar in your discipleship.

2 Cor. 13:3-5 - Test yourselves if you are believing God's Word, if you are believing his great and precious promises to you through both he and his son Christ Jesus, about who and what you are now, and what you can do, since you've received his gift of his paternal holy Spirit!

Eph. 1:17-20 - You should be walking around in your life regularly receiving wisdom and revelations about what's going on around you, as you experientially come to know your heavenly Father.  This is called walking by the Spirit, as opposed to strictly walking by our five senses.  God's gift of his Spirit in you is like a sixth sense, to say the least.

Have your eyes been sufficiently illuminated yet for you to "see" what is the wealth of the glory of his inheritance which he placed in you, which is his Spirit which he has placed in you?  If they have then you experientially know about the kind of joy of which Jesus spoke.

Have you started to experience some of the overthrowing greatness of the work of inherent power which the God placed into those, the ones believing down according to the energy of the power of the strength of him?  It's the same power which raised up Christ Jesus out of dead ones, and which shall raise you up also!

Eph. 6:10-18 - Part of you new identity is your new job description.  Here it is!

- Stand opposed to the methods of the diabolical one, the devil, Satan.

- Stand opposed to the ones holding the cosmological power of darkness.

- Stand opposed to the spirit-based ones (demon spirits) of the evil one.

Verses 13 through 20 tell a believer how to do it!

The nine manifestations were designed specifically for this purpose, to fulfill this job description.

Phil. 2:13 - Always remember, it is not about how strong you are, but it is about how strong is God in you!  We can never do anything ourselves.  As soon as you start thinking that your ability to manifest God's Spirit in you is about you, then your either already losing the fight or battle or have already lost, and the devil and little demon spirits win, or will win.  Of all of the things Jesus did in his earthly ministry, he said that he could do nothing without God's Spirit IN him teaching him and actually doing those things THROUGH him (John 5:19-20, 30, 8:28-29).

The secret about the ability to manifest God's gift within us is that God's Spirit energizes to manifest itself when our motivation of heart is to share his love with others.  And that must be coupled with staying in fellowship with Christ Jesus, keeping careful watch over our discipleship to him, to keep ourselves trustworthy to keep all of his sayings and commandments (John 15:4-5).

Phil. 4:13 - If the God's Spirit is in you inherently powering you, then you are made strong enough to do his will in all things.

Col. 1:27-29 - In this passage apostle Paul equates us learning how to manifest God's gift of his Spirit in us like Christ Jesus learned to do it, which is our demonstration of Christ in us.  God gave his Spirit to his firstborn son, Christ Jesus, and then Christ Jesus gave it to us when we believed upon his name and confessed it with our mouths, and so it is God's gift of his Spirit, but it came to us THROUGH Christ Jesus, and so this is why Paul refers to it as the Spirit of/from Christ, and as Christ in you.  So then, was Christ Jesus a weakling in his spiritual walk?  That wasn't the example he demonstrated for us to follow, was it?  We can see that apostle Paul's definition of being made complete in Christ Jesus is first based upon our own learning of the knowledge of God's Word and experiential knowledge of him through fellowship; which belief in his Word then causes us to grows up into a complete man or woman of God, into the measure of the fullness of the maturity of the Christ (Eph. 4:13).

1 Thes. 2:13 - When you go to your Christian denominational outlet what are you listening to, the word of mortals, or the Word of God?  How do you know?  Just because someone tells you that what they say is the Word of the God, does that make it truly the Word of the God?  Don't you think that there are people out there simply posing as ministers of righteousness, but in reality are actually working for the devil?  So then why are there so many warnings by the prophets, Christ Jesus, and his apostles, for us not to become tricked and stripped of the power of God's Spirit in us?  That's what we'll look at next in the second part of this study.  It's believing the Word of mortals, false God's Word, which strips believers from their spiritual growth, from rising up to the level of the bar in their discipleship to Christ Jesus, which side-tracks them from learning how to become a complete man or woman of God, doing all nine manifestations all of the time, or manifesting whatever is needed given the circumstances.

2 Tim. 1:7 - (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the (ho) God (theos) absolutely did not give (ou edōken) to us (hēmin) [a] Spirit (pneuma) of cowardice (deilias), BUT (alla), [a] work of inherent power (dunameōs), and (kai) of love (agapēs), and (kai) of thinking whole thoughts (sōphronismou)!

1 John 4:4 - (LIT/UBS4) You (humeis) are (este) out (ek) of the (tou) God (theou), little born ones (teknia), and (kai) you have conquered (nenikēkate) them (autous)

Because (hoti), [a] greater one (meizōn) is (estin) the (ho) [Spirit of God, v2, RE] in (en) you (humin), than (ē) the (ho) [spirit of antichrist, v3, RE] in (en) the (tō) cosmos (kosmō).

1 John 5:3 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) this (hautē) is (estin) the (hē) love (agapē) [of us] of the (tou) God (theou):

that (hina) we may watchfully keep (tērōmen) the (tas) injunctions (entolas) of him (autou)

And (kai) the (tas) injunctions (entolas) of him (autou) are (eisin) absolutely not (ouk) weighty things (bareiai)!

1 John 5:4 (LIT/UBS4) Because (hoti) anyone (pan), the one (ho) having been generated (gegennēmenon) out (ek) of the (tou) God (theou), he conquers (nika) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon).

And (kai) this (hautē) is (estin) the one (hē) [who, AE] [is] [a] conqueror (nikē), the one (hē) having conquered (nikēsasa) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon), the one (hē) [having, AE] [the] belief (pistis) of us (hēmōn)

1 John 5:5 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) who (tis) is (estin) the one (ho) conquering (nikōn) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon) if (ei) not (mē) the one (ho) believing (pisteuōn) that (hoti) Jesus (Iēsous) is (estin) the (ho) son (huios) of the (tou) God (theou)!?

Why Allow Yourself To Be / Get Talked Out Of It?

These following passages explain why believers are stripped, or become stripped, of the power of God's Spirit in their lives.

Mat. 15:8 (LIT/UBS4) ‘The (ho) people (laos), this (houtos) [people, RE], honor (tima) me (me) [with, AE] the (tois) lips (cheilesin) .

But (de) the (hē) heart (kardia) of them (autōn) distantly (porrō) holds away (apechei) from (ap’) me (emou).

Mat. 15:9 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) emptily (matēn) they cause themselves to revere (sebontai) me (me), teaching (didaskontes) for teachings (didaskalias) precepts (entalmata) of mortals (anthrōpōn)!’

John 8:31 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), the (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) was saying (elegen) to (pros) the (tous) Judeans (ioudaious) having believed (pepisteukotas) him (autō), If perhaps (ean) you (humeis) may stay (meinēte) in (en) to the (tō) Word (logō), to the (tō) [Word] of me (emō), you are (este) truly (alēthōs) disciples (mathētai) of me (mou)!

John 8:32 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) you shall cause yourselves to know (gnōsesthe) the (tēn) Truth (alētheian), and (kai) the (hē) Truth (alētheia) shall free (eleutherōsei) you (humas).”

John 8:33 (LIT/UBS4) They were caused to make [a] decision (apekrithēsan) to (pros) him (auton), “We are (esmen) seed/sperm (sperma) of Abraham (Abraam), and (kai) to absolutely not one (oudeni) have we been slaves (dedouleukamen) ever at any time (pōpote)!

How (pōs) do you say (su legeis) that (hoti), ‘You shall cause yourselves to become (genēsesthe) free ones (eleutheroi)’?”

John 8:34 (LIT/UBS4) The (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) was caused to make a decision (apekrithē) for them (autois), “Truly (amēn), truly (amēn), I say (legō) to you (humin) that (hoti) everyone (pas), the one (ho) doing (poiōn) the (tēn) sin (hamartian) is (estin) [a] slave (doulos) of the (tēs) sin (hamartias)!

John 8:35 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) slave (doulos) [of the sin, v34, RE] absolutely does not stay (ou menei) in (en) the (tē) house (oikia) into (eis) the (ton) age (aiōna)!

The (ho) son (huios) stays (menei) [in the house, RE] into (eis) the (ton) age (aiōna).

John 8:36 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), if perhaps (ean) the (ho) son (huios) may free (eleutherōsē) you (humas) [from sin, v34, RE], you shall cause yourselves to be (esesthe) really (ontōs) free ones (eleutheroi).

John 8:37 (LIT/UBS4) I have seen (oida) that (hoti) you are (este) seed/sperm (sperma) of Abraham (Abraam).

BUT (alla), you search (zēteite) to kill (apokteinai) me (me), because (hoti) the (ho) Word (logos), the one (ho) [being] mine (emos), absolutely does not find room (ou chōrei) in (en) you (humin)!

John 8:38 (LIT/UBS4) The things (ha) I (egō) have gazed at (heōraka) alongside3844 (para) to the (tō) Father (patri), I speak (lalō)

And (kai) you (humeis), therefore (oun), do (poieite) the things (ha) you heard (ēkousate) alongside3844 (para) of the (tou) father (patros) [of you, AE].”

John 8:39 (LIT/UBS4) They were caused to make [a] decision (apekrithēsan), and (kai) they enunciated (eipan) to him (autō), “The (ho) father (patēr) of us (hēmōn) is (estin) Abraham (Abraam).”

The (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) says (legei) to them (autois), “If (ei) you are (este) ones born (tekna) of the (tou) Abraham (Abraam), you would have been doing (epoieite) the (ta) works (erga) of Abraham (Abraam)!?”

John 8:40 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) now (nun) you search (zēteite) to kill (apokteinai) me (me), [a] mortal (anthrōpon), who (hos) has spoken (lelalēka) the (tēn) Truth (alētheian) which (hēn) I heard (ēkousa) alongside3844 (para) of the (tou) God (theou)

This (touto) Abraham (Abraam) absolutely did not (ouk) do (epoiēsen)!

John 8:41 (LIT/UBS4) You (humeis) do (poieite) the (ta) works (erga) of the (tou) father (patros) of you (humōn).”

Therefore (oun), they enunciated (eipan) to him (autō), “We (hēmeis) have absolutely not been generated (ou gegennēmetha) out (ek) of fornication (porneias)

We have (echomen) one (hena) Father (patera), the (ton) God (theon).”

John 8:42 (LIT/UBS4) The (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) enunciated (eipen) to them (autois), “If (ei) the (ho) God (theos) was being (ēn) [the] Father (patēr) of you (humōn), perhaps (an) you would be loving (ēgapate) me (eme), because (gar) I (egō) came out (exēlthon) out (ek) of the (tou) God (theou), and (kai) I arrive (hēkō)

Because (gar) but absolutely not (oude) from (ap’) of myself (emautou) have I come (elēlutha)!

BUT (all’), that one (ekeinos) sent (apesteilen) me (me)!

John 8:43 (LIT/UBS4) Through (dia) [the sake, AE] of what (ti) do you absolutely not know (ou ginōskete) the (tēn) speech (lalian), the (tēn) [speech, RE] of me (mou)!?

[Is it, AE] because (hoti) you can absolutely not inherently power yourselves (ou dunasthe) to hear (akouein) the (ton) Word (logon), the one (ton) of me (emon)!?

John 8:44 (LIT/UBS4) You (humeis) are (este) out (ek) of the (tou) father (patros) [of you, RE], the (tou) diabolical one (diabolou);

and (kai) you desire (thelete) to do (poiein) the (tas) lusts (epithumias) of the (tou) father (patros) of you (humōn)!

(For the Israel after the flesh doing sacrifices to little demons, see 1 Cor. 10:18-21)

That one (ekeinos) was being (ēn) [a] mortal-killer (anthrōpoktonos) from (ap’) [the] beginning (archēs).

And (kai) he has absolutely not been standing (ouk estēken) in (en) the (tē) Truth (alētheia), because (hoti) Truth (alētheia) is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) in (en) him (autō)!

When perhaps (hotan) he may speak (lalē) the (to) falsehood (pseudos), he speaks (lalei) out (ek) of the things (tōn) of his own (idiōn);

because (hoti) he is (estin) [a] false one (pseustēs), and (kai) the (ho) father (patēr) of it (autou)!

John 8:45 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) because (hoti) I (egō) speak (legō) the (tēn) Truth (alētheian), you absolutely do not believe (ou pisteuete) me (moi)!?

John 8:46 (LIT/UBS4) Who (tis) out (ex) of you (humōn) reproves (elenchei) me (me) about (peri) sin (hamartias)?

If (ei) I speak (legō) Truth (alētheian), through (dia) [the sake, AE] of what (ti) do you (humeis) absolutely not believe (ou pisteuete) me (moi)!?

John 8:47 (LIT/UBS4) The one (ho) being (ōn) out (ek) of the (tou) God (theou) hears (akouei) the (ta) statements (rhēmata) of the (tou) God (theou)

Through (dia) [the sake, AE] of this (touto) you (humeis) absolutely do not (ouk) hear (akouete) [the statements of the God, RE], because (hoti) you are (este) absolutely not (ouk) out (ek) of the (tou) God (theou)!”

2 Cor. 10:3 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) we are ones walking around (peripatountes) in (en) flesh (sarki), we absolutely do not arm ourselves (ou strateuometha) down according to (kata) [the] flesh (sarka)!

2 Cor. 10:4 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the (ta) weapons (hopla) of the (tēs) armament (strateias) of us (hēmōn) [are] absolutely not (ou) flesh-based things (sarkika), BUT (alla), [the weapons, RE] [are] inherently powered ones (dunata) for the (tō) God (theō), toward (pros) [the] down throw (kathairesin) of strongholds (ochurōmatōn)!

2 Cor. 10:5 (LIT/UBS4) We are ones seizing down (kathairountes) reasoning’s (logismous), and (kai) every (pan) high body (hupsōma) [of reasoning, RE] causing itself to lift itself up (epairomenon) down against (kata) the (tēs) knowledge (gnōseōs) of the (tou) God (theou)!

And (kai) we are ones taking captive at spear point (aichmalōtizontes) every (pan) perception (noēma) into (eis) the (tēn) attentive hearing (hupakoēn) of the (tou) Christ (Christou)!

2 Cor. 10:6 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) we are ones holding (echontes) in (en) readiness (hetoimō) to avenge out (ekdikēsai) all (pasan) inattentive hearing (parakoēn), when perhaps (hotan) the (hē) attentive hearing (hupakoē) of you (humōn) may be fulfilled (plērōthē)

Rom. 1:20 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the (ta) unseeable things (aorata) of him (autou), from (apo) [the] creation (ktiseōs) of [the] cosmos (kosmou), are being caused to stare down (kathoratai), both (te) the (hē) everlasting (aidios) inherent power (dunamis) of him (autou), and (kai) godliness (theiotēs);

they being perceived (nooumena) [through, v19, RE] the (tois) things made (poiēmasin);

into (eis) the (to) [impiety and unrighteousness, v18, RE] of them (autous) to be (einai) without [an] apology (anapologētous);

Rom. 1:21 (LIT/UBS4) through the reason that (dioti) they having known (gnontes) the (ton) God (theon), they absolutely did not glorify (ouch edoxasan) [the God, RE] as (hōs) God (theon), nor (ē) did they give thanks well (ēucharistēsan)!

BUT (all’), they were emptied (emataiōthēsan) in (en) the (tois) dialogues (dialogismois) of them (autōn), and (kai) the (hē) unintelligent (asunetos) heart (kardia) of them (autōn) was darkened (eskotisthē)!

Rom. 1:22 (LIT/UBS4) They claiming (phaskontes) to be (einai) wise ones (sophoi), they were made moronic (emōranthēsan).

2 Cor. 11:13 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the ones (hoi) like these (toioutoi) are false apostles (pseudapostoloi), beguiling (dolioi) workers (ergatai), transforming themselves (metaschēmatizomenoi) into (eis) apostles (apostolous) of Christ (Christou).

2 Cor. 11:14 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [it, AE] [is] absolutely not (ou) [an] amazement (thauma)!

Because (gar) the (ho) Satan (Satanas) himself (autos) transforms himself (metaschēmatizetai) into (eis) [a] messenger (angelon) of light (phōtos)!

2 Cor. 11:15 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), [it, AE] [is] absolutely no (ou) great thing (mega) if (ei) the (hoi) ministers (diakonoi) also (kai) of him (autou) transform themselves (metaschēmatizontai) as (hōs) [being] ministers (diakonoi) of righteousness (dikaiosunēs);

the (to) completion (telos) of whom (hōn) shall cause itself to be (estai) down according to (kata) the (ta) works (erga) of them (autōn)!

Eph. 5:6 (LIT/UBS4) Let not one (mēdeis) fake (apatatō) you (humas) [with, AE] empty (kenois) words (logois).

Because (gar) through (dia) these things (tauta) the (hē) anger (orgē) of the (tou) God (theou) causes itself to come (erchetai) upon (epi) the (tous) sons (huious) of the (tēs) dissuasion (apeitheias).

Eph. 5:7 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), do not cause yourselves to become (mē ginesthe) partners together with (summetochoi) them (autōn).

Eph. 5:8 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) once (pote) you were being (ēte) darkness (skotos), but (de) now (nun) [you are being, RE] light (phōs) in (en) [the] lord (kuriō).

You walk around (peripateite) as (hōs) ones born (tekna) of light (phōtos).

Eph. 5:9 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the (ho) produce (karpos) of the (tou) light (phōtos) [is] in (en) all (pasē) goodness (agathōsunē), and (kai) righteousness (dikaiosunē), and (kai) Truth (alētheia),

Eph. 5:10 (LIT/UBS4) you proving (dokimazontes) what (ti) is (estin) well agreeable (euareston) to the (tō) lord (kuriō).

Eph. 5:11 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) do not fellowship together with (mē sunkoinōneite) the (tois) works (ergois), the (tois) unproductive (akarpois) [works, RE] of the (tou) darkness (skotous).

But (de) more (mallon), reprove (elenchete) [the unproductive works of the darkness, RE] also (kai)!

Eph. 5:12 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the things (ta) being caused to come to pass (ginomena) secretly (kruphē) under (hup’) them (autōn) is (estin) shameful (aischron) to say (legein) also (kai)

Col. 2:8 (LIT/UBS4) Look (blepete), not (mē) anyone (tis) of you (humas) shall cause himself to be (estai) the (ho) one led to being stripped (sulagōgōn), through (dia) the (tēs) philosophy (philosophias) and (kai) empty (kenēs) deceitfulness (apatēs) down according to (kata) the (tēn) tradition (paradosin) of the (tōn) mortals (anthrōpōn), down according to (kata) the (ta) elements (stoicheia) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou), and (kai) absolutely not (ou) down according to (kata) Christ (Christon)!

2 Tim. 3:1 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) know (ginōske) this (touto), that (hoti) in (en) [the] last (eschatais) days (hēmerais) perilous (chalepoi) times (kairoi) shall cause themselves to be in present standing (enstēsontai).

2 Tim. 3:2 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the (hoi) mortals (anthrōpoi) shall cause themselves to be (esontai):

self-lovers (philautoi);

silver-lovers (philarguroi);

vain ones (alazones);

arrogant ones (huperēphanoi);

blasphemous ones (blasphēmoi);

2 Tim. 3:3 (LIT/UBS4) unaffectionate ones (astorgoi);

implacable ones (aspondoi);

diabolical ones (diaboloi);

2 Tim. 3:4 (LIT/UBS4) betrayers (prodotai);

ones falling forward4312 (propeteis);

ones having been made clouds of smoke5187 (tetuphōmenoi);

lovers of hedonism (philēdonoi) more (mallon) than (ē) lovers of God (philotheoi);

2 Tim. 3:5 (LIT/UBS4) ones having (echontes) [a] form (morphōsin) of piety (eusebeias), but (de) they having caused themselves to deny (ērnēmenoi) the (tēn) inherently powered work (dunamin) of her (autēs)!

Cause yourself to turn away from (apotrepou) these ones (toutous) also (kai).

2 Tim. 3:6 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) out (ex) of these (toutōn) are (eisin) the ones (hoi) sinking in (endunontes) into (eis) the (tas) houses (oikias), and (kai) taking captive at spear point (aichmalōtizontes) little females (gunaikria) having been heaped (sesōreumena) [with, AE] sins (hamartiais), being led (agomena) to various (poikilais) lusts (epithumiais);

2 Tim. 3:7 (LIT/UBS4) always (pantote) learning (manthanonta) and (kai) not at any time (mēdepote) causing themselves to be inherently powered (dunamena) to come (elthein) into (eis) experiential knowledge (epignōsin) of Truth (alētheias).

2 Tim. 3:8 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) [the] way (tropon) [in, AE] which (hon) Jannes (Iannēs) and (kai) Jambres (Iambrēs) stood opposed (antestēsan) to Moses (mōusei), thusly (houtōs) these ones (houtoi) also (kai) cause themselves to stand opposed (anthistantai) to the (tē) Truth (alētheia);

mortals (anthrōpoi) having been corrupted (katephtharmenoi) [in, AE] the (ton) mind (noun), ones unapproved (adokimoi) about (peri) the (tēn) belief (pistin).

2 Tim. 3:9 (LIT/UBS4) BUT (all’), they shall absolutely not beat forward4298 (ou prokopsousin) over (epi) [the sake, AE] of more (pleion) [opposition, v8, RE]!

Because (gar) the (hē) misperception (anoia) of them (autōn) shall cause itself to become (estai) out obvious (ekdēlos) to all (pasin), as (hōs) the (hē) [misperception, RE] of those (ekeinōn) [mortals, v8, RE] also (kai) caused itself to become (egeneto) [out obvious, RE].

2 Tim. 3:10 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) you (su) have followed alongside (parēkolouthēsas) the (tē) teaching (didaskalia) of me (mou), the (tē) upbringing (agōgē), the (tē) preparation (prothesei), the (tē) belief (pistei), the (tē) patience (makrothumia), the (tē) love (agapē), the (tē) endurance (hupomonē)

2 Tim. 3:11 (LIT/UBS4) to the (tois) pursuits (diōgmois), to the (tois) sufferings (pathēmasin);

ones such as (hoia) caused themselves to come to pass (egeneto) to me (moi) in (en) Antioch (Antiocheia), in (en) Iconium (Ikoniō), in (en) Lystra (Lustrios), pursuits (diōgmous) such as (hoious) I was able to bear up under (hupēnenka).

And (kai) out (ek) of all (pantōn) the (ho) lord (kurios) caused himself to rescue (errusato) me (me)!

2 Tim. 3:12 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) all (pantes) also (kai), the ones (hoi) desiring (thelontes) to live (zēn) piously (eusebōs) in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou), they shall be pursued (diōchthēsontai)!

2 Tim. 3:13 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) evil (ponēroi) mortals (anthrōpoi), and (kai) wizards (goētes), shall beat forward4298 (prokopsousin) over (epi) [the sake, AE] of the (to) worst thing (cheiron), wandering (planōntes), and (kai) ones being caused to wander (planōmenoi)!

2 Tim. 3:14 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) you (su) stay (mene) in (en) to things which (hois) you learned (emathes), and (kai) were caused to believe upon (epistōthēs), you having seen (eidōs) alongside (para) of whom (tinōn) you learned (emathes).

2 Tim. 3:15 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) that (hoti) from (apo) [a] baby (brephous) you have seen (oidas) the (ta) sacred (hiera) writings (grammata), the ones (ta) causing you to be inherently powered (dunamena se) to be wise (sophisai) into (eis) wholeness (sōtērian), through (dia) belief (pisteōs), of the (tēs) [belief, RE] in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou).

2 Tim. 4:3 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar), [a] time (kairos) shall cause itself to come (estai) when (hote) [evil mortals, v13, RE] shall absolutely not cause themselves to hold up (ouk anexontai) the (tēs) teaching (didaskalias) being wholesome (hugiainousēs).

BUT (alla), down on account (kata) of the (tas) lusts (epithumias) of their own (idias) they shall heap up (episōreusousin) for themselves (heautois) teachers (didaskalous);

the (tēn) one hearing (akoēn) [them, AE] being tickled (knēthomenoi)!

2 Tim. 4:4 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai), truly (men), they shall turn away (apostrepsousin) from (apo) the (tēn) hearing (akoēn) of the (tēs) Truth (alētheias)!

But (de) over (epi) the (tous) [sake, AE] of myths (muthous) they shall be turned out (ektrapēsontai) [of the truth, RE].

Tit. 1:10 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) there are (eisin) many (polloi) insubordinate ones (anupotaktoi) also (kai);

empty-talkers (mataiologoi), and (kai) thought-deceivers (phrenapatai), mostly (malista) the ones (hoi) out (ek) of the (tēs) circumcision (peritomēs),

Tit. 1:11 (LIT/UBS4) of whom (hous) it is required (dei) to put [a] cover over their mouths (epistomizein);

ones who (hoitines) upturn (anatrepousin) whole (holous) houses (oikous) teaching (didaskontes) things which (ha) are not required (mē dei);

[ones who] favor (charin) shameful (aischrou) gain (kerdous)!

Tit. 1:12 (LIT/UBS4) [A] certain one (tis) out (ex) of them (autōn), his own self (idios) [a] prophet (prophētēs) of them (autōn), enunciated (eipen), “Cretes (krētes) [are] constantly (aei) false ones (pseustai), malicious ones (kaka), wild animals (thēria), non-working (argai) bellies (gasteres).”

Tit. 1:13 (LIT/UBS4) The (hē) witness (marturia) for this (hautē) is (estin) true (alēthēs), through (di’) which (hēn) cause (aitian) reprove (elenche) them (autous) sharply (apotomōs);

in order that (hina) they may be wholesome (hugiainōusin) in (en) the (tē) belief (pistei);

Tit. 1:14 (LIT/UBS4) not (mē) paying attention to (prosechontes) Judean (Ioudaikois) myths (muthois), and (kai) injunctions (entolais) of mortals (anthrōpōn);
