Who's Liable

Some in our world community have voiced their sensitivity that Mel Gibson's work, 'The Passion of the Christ', is insensitive and anti-Semitic toward the Jewish community, and is an instigation for anyone to finger-point toward the Jews and/or the forefathers of the Jewish community as those liable for the death of God's only-begotten son Jesus Christ. Anyone who says that the generation of the Jews which are alive now are somehow culpable to any degree for the death of Jesus Christ about two thousand years ago, contradicts God's Word, which is Truth, which reveals liars. Anyone who accuses the generation of Jews who are alive now for the death of Jesus Christ back then, not only contradicts God's Word, but speaks as an accuser for the Accuser, the devil, for whom they work. What's written in God's Word in the gospel records and the other generally accepted new covenant writings must be accepted as the Truth of what happened, or you may as well throw out the entire God's Word on the subject, and then allow guesswork, imagination and lies to rule supreme.

God's Word gives us an abundance of Truth answering this question about exactly who is responsible for the death of Jesus Christ. God's Word, if it is believed, clearly states the historical facts, or Truths if you will. To those who are afraid that the truth is going to leak out that the Jewish religious leaders of that time were co-responsible along with the devil, much of the Jewish people and the Roman military for causing the death of Jesus Christ, quit worrying. God has already leaked it out in His Word. How does the central Jewish community, the new nation of Israel feel about any insinuation that their political/religious affiliation with God almighty may still be as poor now as it was two thousand years ago? Of course they're sensitive about it. But the Jews, the new nation of Israel's stand in or out of God's grace is entirely in the hands of Israel's political and religious leadership now, just as it was then.

But I believe this is a parallel of comparison Mel Gibson's movie accidentally draws out, which is very uncomfortable for the Jewish community. The devil has been re-morphing and re-marketing this basic concept through the continued insinuations and accusations that Israel is a failed race, for centuries and millenniums, to continue to foment hate against them. The devil relentlessly continues to attack the Jewish people decade after decade for thousands of years, and then accuses them to the world community of being a failed race, as if they did it all on their own without his intervention as the primary cause of it. And of course the majority of the people in the world who are unable to understand spiritual things, buy this lie. These records in God's Word clearly show how Israel did fail at this critical time in history, but show also how the devil was the active power behind their failure. It was specifically the devil's idea to murder Jesus Christ. He managed to get the Jewish religious leaders to buy into his hate and go along with it, drawing them away from God's Word through their own lusts for what they could get out of it, egotistical stroking and psychological orgasms through their own power-trips they were on. I believe this is the essence of the sin nature of the devil which has become impregnated into all mortalkind.

Who paid Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus?

Matthew 26:1 And it came to pass when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said to his disciples,

Matthew 26:2 "Ye know that after two days the Passover takes place, and the Son of man is delivered up to be crucified."

Matthew 26:3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together to the palace of the high priest who was called Caiaphas,

Who were the armed men and people who came to take Jesus?

Who sent the armed men to take Jesus?

What role did the Roman military and the crowd of Jewish people play?

On the day of Pentecost who did apostle Peter condemn?

Acts 2:22 Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazaraean, a man borne witness to by God to you by works of power and wonders and signs, which God wrought by him in your midst, as yourselves know

Acts 2:23 —him, given up by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye, by the hand of lawless men, have crucified and slain.

Acts 2:36 Let the whole house of Israel therefore know assuredly that God has made him, this Jesus whom *ye* have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Acts 2:37 And having heard it they were pricked in heart, and enunciated to Peter and the other apostles, "What shall we do, brethren?"

Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, Repent, and be baptised, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:39 For to you is the promise and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God may call.

Recorded in Matthew 27:25, the Jews in the crowd that day in front of Pilate, who shouted for Jesus' crucifixion, said, "His blood be on us and on our children." But, if God almighty in His magnificent love and mercy, who's son it was, was willing to forgive the children of Israel for the murder back then of His only begotten son, then on what grounds does any mortal's accusation or implication against the posterity of the children of Israel, the current Jewish community now, stand? Those who are ignoring God's love and mercy and offer of forgiveness toward the children of Israel, those who are still accusing the Jews are working for the devil, The Accuser (Rev. 12:10).

All those people who lived back then who played a role in the death of God's only begotten son Jesus Christ, who didn't receive forgiveness from God before they died, are liable, and will answer for their part they played, and why they were so enthusiastic and passionate for Jesus death. Let's all, according to God's Word, Truth, accept the fact that only those mortals who were actually responsible for Jesus' death, about two thousand years ago, God will hold responsible. If the Jews who are alive now, supposedly the posterity of the children of Israel, are sensitive about finger-pointing at them from those accusers who are working for the devil, then let those in the Jewish community call upon God the Father in the name of His son Jesus Christ, like the rest of us who believe do, when we need to be kept whole. No matter what the Jewish community is being accused of, let them call upon God the Father in the name of His son Jesus Christ. There is no other name under which anyone may be kept whole.

What did apostle Paul say was the devil's role in Jesus' death?

1 Corinthians 2:1 And *I*, when I came to you, brethren, came not in superiority of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God.

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I did not judge it well to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and *him* crucified.

1 Corinthians 2:3 And *I* was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling;

1 Corinthians 2:4 and my word and my preaching, not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power;

1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith might not stand in men’s wisdom, but in God’s power.

1 Corinthians 2:6 But we speak wisdom among the perfect; but wisdom not of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who come to naught.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God had determined before, before the ages, into glory of us:

1 Corinthians 2:8 which none of the first ones of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;)

If the devil would have known that God the Father was going to pour out His Spirit into any mortal and give them a new spiritual birth, who would believe upon the shed blood of His son Jesus Christ, then the devil would have done just the opposite of what he did. He would have done everything he could not to allow Jesus' blood to be poured out and not to allow Jesus to die! But God the Father kept this a secret so well that the devil ended up playing right into God's hand!

What did Jesus Christ himself say about the Jewish religious leaders of his day and their alliance with the devil?

Jesus Christ confronts some of the writers and Pharisees on their true spiritual identity. He confronts them concerning from whom they receive their influence to think, say and do the things they think, say and do. Jesus spoke the truth when he stated that the devil was their spiritual father and active influence in their lives. The Jewish religious leaders in Jesus day were as corrupt as could be. The devil was a murderer from the beginning, and now they seek to murder Jesus. The devil is the father of lies, and that's why they lied, because the devil was their father.

John 8:38 I speak what I have seen with my Father, and ye then do what ye have seen with your father.

John 8:39 They answered and enunciated to him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus says to them, "If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham;

John 8:40 but now ye seek to kill me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I have heard from God: this did not Abraham.

John 8:41 Ye do the works of your father." They enunciated therefore to him, "We are not born of fornication; we have one father, God."

John 8:42 Jesus enunciated to them, "If God were your father ye would have loved me, for I came forth from God and am come from him; for neither am I come of myself, but *he* has sent me.

John 8:43 Why do ye not know my speech? Because ye cannot hear my word!

John 8:44 Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father:

John 8:47 He that is of God hears the words of God: therefore ye hear them not, because ye are not of God."

It was the devil heavily at work in the hearts of the Jewish religious leaders to murder Jesus Christ. This is how the devil affected Judas of Iscariote as well.

John 13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end.

John 13:2 And during supper, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas son of Simon, Iscariote, that he should deliver him up,

The devil puts ideas into people's heads, just like he put the idea to betray Jesus Christ into the head of Judas Iscariote. The devil goes about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). How does the devil devour mortals? He devours them in their minds through planting evil thoughts.

What did Jesus Christ say about the religious leaders of his day withholding the knowledge from the Judean people of how to enter into the Kingdom of God?

Matthew 23:13 But (de) woe (ouai) to you (humin) writers (grammateis), and (kai) Pharisees (Pharisaioi), actors (hupokritai), because (hoti) you close (kleiete) the (tēn) Kingdom (basileian) of the (tōn) Heavens (ouranōn) in front (emprosthen) of the (tōn) mortals (anthrōpōn);

because (gar) you (humeis) absolutely do not enter into (ouk eiserchesthe) [it], but (de) absolutely not (ou) do you let go (aphiete) the ones (tous) entering into (eiserchomenous) [it] to enter in (eiselthein)!

Matthew 23:15 Woe (ouai) to you (humin), writers (grammateis) and (kai) Pharisees (Pharisaioi), actors (hupokritai), because (hoti) you go around (periagete) the (tēn) sea (thalassan) and (kai) the (tēn) withered place (xēran) to make (poiēsai) one (hena) proselyte (prosēluton)!

And (kai) when perhaps (hotan) it may cause itself to come to pass (genētai) you make (poieite) him (auton) a son (huion) of Gehenna (Geennēs) double (diploteron) [more than] you (humōn)!

To the few people in Israel who believed upon the name of Jesus and thereby received healing from God through him, His agent, they knew Jesus was invaluable. But to the nation of Israel as a whole, they grossly undervalued Jesus the Christ, the only begotten son of God.

Matthew 27:9 Then (tote) became fulfilled (eplērōthē) the (to) [prophecy] being worded (rhēthen) through (dia) Jeremiah (ieremiou) the (tou) prophet (prophētou), saying (legontos), “And (kai) they took (elabon) the (ta) thirty (triakonta) pieces of silver (arguria), the (tēn) highly esteemed value (timēn) of the (tou) [one] having been highly esteemed (tetimēmenou), whom (hon) they highly esteemed (etimēsanto) from (apo) [the] sons (huiōn) of Israel (Israēl),

An abundance of evidence is in and has been presented. Jesus Christ himself accused the writers and Pharisees of trying to murder him on behalf of their father the devil. God's Word clearly shows that the devil working together with the writers and Pharisees, the religious leadership, were all the ones behind the death of Jesus Christ.

Simply having the knowledge of God's Word about the cause of the death of Jesus Christ, doesn't automatically make that person with that knowledge anti-Semitic. If anyone's anti-Semitic it's the devil, and those working for him. Certainly it does not make God the Father anti-Semitic against His own chosen people for having the Truth recorded in His Word, nor His son Jesus Christ anti-Semitic for stating that his murderers, the writers and Pharisees back then, had the devil as their father. What's anti-Semitic is to use Mel Gibson's movie 'The passion of the Christ' as an excuse to hate the Jewish community now, in our day and time, who have nothing whatsoever to do with the death of Jesus Christ. The devil has made fomenting hate against the Jewish people his life-long occupation.

What I interpret from those of the Jewish community who are sensitive about the possible motives behind the making of the movie, is that they are afraid that Mel Gibson's movie could be used to give the devil and anyone working for him another idea/opportunity and cause to rally behind to launch another onslaught of hate against the Jewish community. But think for a minute. The devil has had God's Word over all the centuries from which to draw out causes to rally behind to foment hate against the Jewish community. I don't think the devil needs Mel Gibson's movie to ring a bell in his head for an idea that he has not yet thought about.

What I think the Jewish community is really afraid of is the international embarrassment as a product of the world community's enlightenment and understanding of what the Jewish community's ancient religious leadership allowed to happen to themselves, or did to themselves. God's Word clearly states that the Jew's ancient religious leadership were pawns of the devil. It's too late to worry about the devil using this fact to imply that this may be the status quo of the current political and religious structures in Israel. He's been going door to door of every nation on earth for centuries selling this accusation. The devil has already thought of it and is hard at work marketing his twisted accusations and hate spin to the Islamic Muslim community.

Not too long ago the devil made a huge sale with the German community. The devil has made some huge sales in the past; the Babylonians, the Philistines, the Romans. Currently the devil has sold this hate spin to almost the entire world community. He's saturated the market with his product of hate. What the world community can't see, is that when they buy the devils spin of hate, they become a "devoured" victim of the devil as the targeted Jewish community. Hundreds of thousands of people die on both sides from the subsequent hate and envy battles. The devil wins again. Ignorant/stupid mortals lose again (Hosea 4:6)!

The devil desired the destruction and death of not only Jesus Christ, but all of the children of Israel (John 10:9-10), from the beginning, because the world community's promised messiah was to come out of them. The devil was a murderer from the beginning, and still is. He was the father of lies then, and still is. For centuries and millenniums the devil has been trying to get rid of God's chosen people, the Jewish community and nation, and anyone anywhere who believes in God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. But he has to get mortals to buy his product of hate, otherwise he has no way to devour anyone.

The devil today is still trying to accomplish his life-long goal, and working in people now just like he did in the hearts of the writers and Pharisees and Judas Iscariot back then, to foment hate and envy in the hearts of people to destroy and kill the Jewish community, and any believers anywhere in the world. In almost every century of history, the devil has found a group or nation of people whom he can infest with his hate and envy, to use them to try and destroy the Jewish people and any believers anywhere.

Contrary to how the Jewish community may feel about Mel Gibson's movie, I believe the Jewish community should show signs of sincere gratitude toward Mel Gibson for bringing back into the hearts and minds of people around the world the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and being kept whole through him, the knowledge that their forefathers two thousand years ago tried to wipe out of the hearts and minds of the Jewish people, and all people, through murdering him. In the history of the Jewish people they have been profound examples of both the greatest victims and the greatest victors, through tremendous examples of the demonstration of God's power, glory and love for them. God the Father has promised to become anything for them when they repent and turn to Him through His son Jesus Christ. For this reason I suggest that it would be good catharsis for the nation of Israel now, to watch the Mel Gibson movie, 'The Passion of the Christ'.

God the Father promises in Isaiah 53 that all the suffering that Jesus endured up until his death, was so that those who believe and call upon his name, 'JESUS', shall not have to suffer illnesses and sickness, on account of Jesus' broken body. We are to eat God's Word with our minds, to the end that it builds the believing in our minds (John 6:48-59), that, "...for the bruising of him you were healed" (1 Peter 2:24). We are to devour God's Word with our minds to prevent our minds from being devoured by the devil! I believe this is part of the purpose of Mel Gibson's movie. Now, as back then, whether the collective mind of the Jewish community, or any community becomes devoured by the devil, or it devours God's Word about Jesus Christ, is entirely up to them.
