(Both the God and his son Christ Jesus are referred to as saviors by the apostles. The clear distinction the holy scriptures make between the roles of the two is that the God prepared the plan and the schematic for our salvation (Heb. 3:1-4; Rom. 3:23-25; Eph. 1:7-9; Luke 1:47; 1 Tim. 1:1, 2:3, 4:10; 2 Tim. 1:9; Tit. 1:2-3, 2:10, 3:4; Jude 1:25, Rev. 7:10), while Christ Jesus, who caused himself to follow God’s plan and schematic, caused himself to become God’s enabling one, or instrument of our salvation (Heb. 5:9; Luke 2:11; John 4:42; Acts 5:31, 13:23; Eph. 5:23; Phil. 3:20; 2 Tim. 1:10; Tit. 1:2-4, 2:13, 3:6; 2 Pet. 1:1, 1:11, 2:20, 3:2, 18; 1 John 4:14).

And (kai) holy (hagion) [is] the (to) name (onoma) of him (autou)!

Luke 1:50 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (to) mercy (eleos) of him (autou) [is] into (eis) generations (geneas) and (kai) generations (geneas), to the ones (tois) causing themselves to fear (phoboumenois) him (auton).

Of arrogant ones (huperēphanous), he scattered (dieskorpisen) [the] thought (dianoia) [of the] heart (kardias) of them (autōn)!

Luke 1:52 (LIT/UBS4) Of inherently powered ones (dunastas), he seized [them, v51, RE] down (katheilen) from (apo) [the] thrones (thronōn) [of them, v51, RE], and (kai) he set above (hupsōsen) humble ones (tapeinous)!

Luke 1:54 (LIT/UBS4) Of Israel (Israēl), he caused himself to take (antelabeto) [a] child (paidos) of him (autou), [for Israel, RE] to be reminded (mnēsthēnai) of [the] mercy (eleous) [of him, RE];

(For God's promised mercy to Israel, see Jer. 31:31-34; Micah 5:2, 8; Heb. 10:16-17)

And (kai) she generated (egennēsen) [a] son (huion).

Luke 1:58 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (hoi) ones housed around (perioikoi), and (kai) the (hoi) genuses together with (sungeneis) her (autēs), they heard (ēkousan) that (hoti) [the] Lord (kurios) made great (emegalunen) with (met’) her (autēs) the (to) mercy (eleos) of him (autou).
