Luke 13:2 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) having been caused to make [a] decision (apokritheis), he enunciated (eipen) to them (autois), “Do you conclude (dokeite) that (hoti) these ones (houtoi), the (hoi) Galileans (Galilaioi), besides (para) all (pantas) the (tous) Galileans (Galilaious), caused themselves to become (egenonto) sinful ones (hamartōloi) because (hoti) they have suffered (peponthasin) such things (toianta)?

Luke 13:3 (LIT/UBS4) I say (lego) to you (humin), absolutely not (ouchi)!

BUT (all’), if perhaps (ean) you may not repent (mē metanoēte), likewise (homoiōs), you shall all cause yourselves to be lost (pantes apoleisthe)!

Luke 13:5 (LIT/UBS4) I say (lego) to you (humin), absolutely not (ouchi)

Luke 13:7 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) he enunciated (eipen) to (pros) the (ton) vineyard worker (ampelourgon), ‘Behold (idou), [it has been, AE] three (tria) years (etē) from (aph’) [the time, AE] of which (hou) I caused myself to come (erchomai) searching (zētōn) for produce (karpon) in (en) the (tē) fig tree (sukē), and (kai) I absolutely do not find (ouch heuriskō) this (tautē) [in her, v6, RE]!

Therefore (oun), cut her out (ekkopson autēn), because why (hinati) idle down2673 (katargei) the (tēn) ground (gēn) also (kai)?’

Luke 13:8 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) [vineyard worker, v7, RE] having been caused to make [a] decision (apokritheis), he says (legei) to him (autō), ‘Lord (kurie), let go (aphes) of her (autēn) the (to) year (etos) of this (touto) also (kai), until (heōs) of which (hotou) [time, AE] I may dig (skapsō) around (peri) her (autēn) and (kai) I may throw (balō) mulch (kopria) [around her, RE],

Luke 13:9 (LIT/UBS4) and perhaps (kan) [see what, AE] it is being about (mellon), [if , RE] it may truly make (men poiēsē) produce (karpon) into (eis) the (to) [next, AE] [year, v8, RE]!

And (kai) she was being (ēn) one being bent together (sunkuptousa), and (kai) she was not being inherently powered (mē dunamenē) to bend up (anakupsai) into (eis) the (to) entire end (panteles).

Luke 13:12 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) having seen (idōn) her (autēn), he made [a] sound toward (prosephōnēsen) [her, RE] and (kai) he enunciated (eipen) to her (autē), “Female (gunai), of the (tēs) disability (astheneias) of you (sou), it has been sent away (apolelusai).”

Luke 13:13 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) he put upon (epethēken) her (autē) the (tas) hands (cheiras) and (kai) particularly (parachrēma) she was made straight (anōrthōthē).

And (kai) she was glorifying (edoxazen) the (ton) God (theon).

Luke 13:14 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) chief one of the synagogue (archisunagōgos) having been caused to make [a] decision (apokritheis), he being very agitated (aganaktōn) that (hoti) the (ho) Jesus (Iēsous) gave therapy (etherapeusen) [in, RE] the (tō) sabbath day (sabbat), he was saying (elegen) to the (tō) crowd (ochlō) that (hoti), “There are (eisin) six (hex) days (hēmerai) in (en) which (hais) it is required (dei) to cause yourselves to work (ergazesthai).

For the (tō) sabbath day (sabbatō) does one absolutely not let loose (ou luei) the (ton) bovine (boun) of him (autou), or (ē) the (ton) donkey (onon), from (apo) the (tēs) crib (phatnēs), and (kai) having led [it, AE] away (apagagon) he gives [it, AE] [a] drink (potizei)!?

(For the devil, the *god of this cosmos, coming to steal, kill, and destroy the assembly (ekklēsia), the one body of Christ, and all mortalkind, to cause them to wander away from the one true God and his Word, see Mat. 6:13, 13:19; Mark 1:13a, 4:15, 13:5-6; Luke 13:16, 21:8, 22:3, 31; John 8:44, 10:10a, 13:27; Acts 5:3; 1 Cor. 7:5, 31b; 2 Cor. 2:11, *4:4, 11:13-15; Gal. 1:4; Eph. 4:11-14, 6:11-16; 1 Thes. 2:17-18; 2 Thes. 2:7-12; 1 Tim. 4:1-2, 5:13-15; 2 Tim. 3:13; 1 John 3:11-13, 4:1-6, 5:19; 2 John 1:7; Rev. 2:9, 12-15, 20, 12:7-17; 13:14, 18:21-23, 19:20, 20:3-10)

Luke 13:17 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) of him (autou) saying (legontos) these things (tauta), all (pantes) the ones (hoi) causing themselves to lie opposed (antikeimenoi) to him (autō) were being put down to shame (katēschunonto)

And (kai) all (pas) the (ho) crowd (ochlos) was rejoicing (echairen) over (epi) all (pasin) the (tois) glorious things (endoxois), the ones (tois) being caused to come to pass (ginomenois) under (hup’) [the teaching, v10] of him (autou).

Luke 13:18 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), he was saying (elegen), “What (tini) is (estin) the (hē) Kingdom932 (basileia) of the (tou) God (theou) like (homoia)?

And (kai) to what (tini) shall I make [a] likeness (homoiōsō) of her (autēn)?

Luke 13:19 (LIT/UBS4) She is (estin) like (homoia) [a] kernal (kokkō) of [a] mustard tree (sinapeōs);

which (hon) [a] mortal (anthrōpos) having taken (labōn), he threw (ebalen) [it, AE] into (eis) [a] garden (kēpon) of himself (heautou) and (kai) it grew (ēuxēsen), and (kai) it caused itself to become (egeneto) into (eis) [a] tree (dendron).

And (kai) the (ta) flying animals (peteina) of the (tou) heaven (ouranou) tented down (kateskēnōsen) in (en) the (tois) branches (kladois) of it (autou).”

Luke 13:20 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) again (palin) he enunciated (eipen), “To what (tini) shall I make [a] likeness (homoiōsō) of the (tēn) Kingdom932 (basileian) of the (tou) God (theou)?

Luke 13:21 (LIT/UBS4) She is (estin) like (homoia) leaven (zumē), which (hēn) [a] female (gunē) having taken (labousa) she hid (en) [leaven, RE] in (eis) three (tria) dry measures (sata) of [a] grind (aleurou), until (heōs) of which (hou) [time, AE] [a] whole (holon) [grind, RE] was leavened (ezumōthē).”

Luke 13:22 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) he caused himself to go down through (dieporeueto kata) cities (poleis) and (kai) villages (kōmas) teaching (didaskōn), and (kai) causing himself to make (poioumenos) [a] pursuit (poreian) into (eis) Jerusalem (Hierosoluma).

Luke 13:23 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) someone (tis) enunciated (eipen) to him (autō), “Lord (kurie), if (ei) the ones (hoi) being made whole (sōzomenoi) [are] few (oligoi) [in number, AE]?”

But (de) the (ho) [lord, RE] enunciated (eipen) to (pros) them (autous),

Luke 13:24 (LIT/UBS4) “Cause yourselves to agonize (agōnizesthe) to enter into (eiselthein) [the Kingdom of the God, v18, RE] through (dia) the (tēs) narrow (stenēs) door (thuras);

because (hoti) many (polloi), I say (legō) to you (humin), shall search (zētēsousin) to enter into (eiselthein) [the Kingdom of the God, v18, RE], and (kai) they shall absolutely not be strong enough (ouk ischusousin)!

(For the way leading into life having been smothered, and for the lawyers having stolen the key of knowledge so that others cannot enter in, and subsequently for believers having to force themselves into the Kingdom of the Heavens, see Mat. 7:13-14, 21, 11:12, 16:19, 18:3-9, 19:17-26; Mark 9:43-48, 10:23-25; Luke 11:52, 13:24, 16:16, 18:16-27; John 3:3-6, 10:1-9; Acts 14:21-22)

Luke 13:25 (LIT/UBS4) Perhaps (an) from (aph’) which (hou) [time, AE] the (ho) house master (oikodespotēs) may be awoken (egerthē), and (kai) he may have keyed the door closed2808 (apokleisē tēn thuran), and (kai) you may cause yourselves to start (arxēsthe) to stand (hestanai) [sic] outside (exō) to knock (krouein), saying (legontes), “Lord (kurie), open up (anoixon) the (tēn) door (thuran) for us (hēmin),” and (kai) he having been caused to make [a] decision (apokritheis) he shall state (erei) to you (humin), ‘I have absolutely not seen (ouk oida) you (humas)!

You are (este) from where (pothen)?’

Luke 13:26 (LIT/UBS4) Then (tote) you shall cause yourselves to start (arxesthe) to say (legein), 'We ate (ephagomen) in sight (enōpion) of you (sou), and (kai) we drank (epiomen);

and (kai) you taught (edidaxas) in (en) the (tais) wide places (plateiais) of us (hēmōn)!'

Luke 13:27 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [the house master, v25, RE]  shall state (erei), saying (legōn) to you (humin), 'I have absolutely not seen (ouk oida) you (humas)!

You are (este) from where (pothen)?

Depart away (apostēte) from (ap’) me (emou), all (pantes) workers (ergatai) of unrighteousness (adikias)!'

Luke 13:28 (LIT/UBS4) There (ekei) shall cause itself to be (estai) the (ho) wailing (klauthmos) and (kai) the (ho) grinding (brugmos) of the (tōn) teeth (odontōn), when perhaps (hotan) you may cause yourselves to gaze at (opsēsthe) Abraham (Abraam), and (kai) Isaac (Isaak), and (kai) Jacob (Iakōb), and (kai) all (pantas) of the (tous) prophets (prophētas) in (en) the (tē) Kingdom932 (basileia) of the (tou) God (theou), but (de) you (humas) being thrown out (ekballomenous) outside (exō)!

Luke 13:29 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) they shall arrive (hēxousin) from (apo) risings395 (anatolōn) and (kai) sinkings1424 (dusmōn) [of the sun, AE], and (kai) from (apo) [the] north wind (borra) and (kai) south wind (notou), and (kai) they shall be reclined up347 (anaklithēsontai) in (en) the (tē) Kingdom932 (basileia) of the (tou) God (theou).

Luke 13:30 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) behold (idou), there are (eisin) last ones (eschatoi) who (hoi) shall cause themselves to be (esontai) first ones4413 (prōtoi), and (kai) there are (eisin) first ones4413 (prōtoi) who (hoi) shall cause themselves to be (esontai) last ones (eschatoi)!”

Luke 13:31 (LIT/UBS4) In (en) the (tē) same (autē) hour (hōra) some (tines) Pharisees (Pharisaioi) came (prosēlthan) saying (legontes) to him (autō), “Come out (exelthe) and (kai) be gone (poreuou) from here (enteuthen), because (hoti) Herod (Hērōdēs) desires (thelei) to kill (apokteinai) you (se).”

Luke 13:32 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) he enunciated (eipen) to them (autois), “You having been caused to go (poreuthentes), you enunciate (eipate) this (tautē) to the (tē) fox (alōpeki), ‘Behold (idou), I throw out (ekballō) little demons, (daimonia) and (kai) I complete (apotelō) healings (iaseis) today (sēmeron) and (kai) tomorrow (aurion);

and (kai) the (tē) third (tritē) [day, AE], I am made complete (teleioumai)!

(For who is the complete one, see Luke 13:31-32; John 17:18-23; Eph.4:7-16; Col. 1:19; Heb. 5:8-9, 7:28, 9:11, 12:2.)

Luke 13:33 (LIT/UBS4) Moreover (plēn), it is necessary (dei) for me (me) to make myself go (poreuesthai) today (sēmeron) and (kai) tomorrow (aurion), and (kai) the (tē) [day, AE] causing itself to hold (echomenē) [next, AE],  because (hoti) it is absolutely not acceptable (ouk endechetai) for [a] prophet (prophētēn) to cause himself to be lost (apolesthai) outside (exō) of Jerusalem (Hierousalēm)!'

Luke 13:34 (LIT/UBS4) Jerusalem (Hierousalēm), Jerusalem (Hierousalēm), the one (hē) killing (apokteinousa) the (tous) prophets (prophētas), and (kai) throwing stones (lithobolousa) at the ones (tous) having been sent (apestalmenous) to (pros) you (autēn), how many times (posakis) I desired (ēthelēsa) to bring together (episunaxai) the (ta) ones born (tekna) of you (sou) [in, AE] [a] way (tropon) which (hon) [a] hen (ornis) [brings together, RE] the (tēn) brood (nossian) of herself (heautēs) under (hupo) the (tas) wings (pterugas) [of her, AE], and (kai) you absolutely did not desire (ouk ēthelēsate) [it, AE]!

Luke 13:35 (LIT/UBS4) Behold (idou), the (ho) house (oikos) of you (humōn) is let go (aphietai) to you (humin)!

But (de) I say (legō) to you (humin), no (mē), you may absolutely not see (ou idēte) me (me), until (heōs) [the time, AE] shall arrive (hēxei) when (hote) you may enunciate (eipēte), ‘Having been eulogized (eulogēmenos) [is] the one (ho) causing himself to come (erchomenos) in (en) [the] name (onomati) of [the] Lord (kuriou, YHWH)!”

(See Psalm 118:26)
