Or (ē), what (tis) [is] the (hē) profit (ōpheleia) of the (tēs) circumcision (peritomēs)?

Rom. 3:2 (LIT/UBS4) Much (polu), down according to (kata) every (panta) way (tropon)!

Because (gar) first (prōton), truly (men), that (hoti) they were caused to believe in (episteuthēsan) the (ta) utterances (logia) of the (tou) God (theou).

Rom. 3:3 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) what (ti) if (ei) some (tines) disbelieved (ēpistēsan)?

The (hē) unbelief (apistia) of them (autōn) shall not idle down2673 (mē katargēsei) the (tēn) belief (pistin) of the (tou) God (theou).

Rom. 3:4 (LIT/UBS4) May it not cause itself to come to pass (mē genoito)!

But (de) <let> the (ho) God (theos) cause himself to become (ginesthō) [a] true one (alēthēs);

but (de) <let> every (pas) mortal (anthrōpos) [cause himself to become, RE] [a] false one (pseustēs), down according to as (kathōs) it has been written (gegraptai):

“It so being that (hopōs) perhaps (an) you may have been made righteous (dikaiōthēs) in (en) the (tois) words (logois) of you (sou);

[then, AE] you shall be conquering (nikēseis) also (kai) in (en) the (tō) [day, AE] of you (se) to be judged (krinesthai).”

(See Psalm 51:4)

Rom. 3:5 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) if (ei) the (hē) unrighteousness (adikia) of us (hēmōn) introduces (sunistēsin) [the] righteousness (dikaiosunēn) of God (theou), what (ti) shall we state (eroumen)?

[Is] not (mē) the (ho) God (theos) unrighteous (adikos), the one (ho) bringing upon us (epipherōn) the (tēn) anger (orgēn)?

I speak (legō) down as (kata) [a] mortal (anthrōpon).

Rom. 3:6 (LIT/UBS4) May it not cause itself to come to pass (mē genoito)

Otherwise (epei) how (pōs) <shall> the (ho) God (theos) judge (krinei) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon)?

Rom. 3:7 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) if (ei) the (hē) Truth (alētheia) of the (tou) God (theou), in (en) [judgment, AE] to the (tō) falsehood (pseusmati) to me (emō), abounded (eperisseusen) into (eis) the (tēn) glory (doxan) of him (autou), why (ti) yet (eti) am I also (kagō) judged (krinomai) as (hōs) [a] sinful one (hamartōlos)?

Rom. 3:8 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) are we not [being] down according to as (mē kathōs) we are blasphemed (blasphēmoumetha) [to be], and (kai) down according to as (kathōs) some (tines) shed light5346 (phasin), to say (legein) of us (hēmas) that (hoti), “May we do (poiēsōmen) the (ta) malicious things (kaka) in order that (hina) the (ta) good things (agatha) may come (elthē)”, of which (hōn) the (to) judicial decision (krima) [of the God, v7, RE] is (estin) in the right (endikon)?

Rom. 3:9 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), what (ti)

Do we absolutely not all cause ourselves to be held before (proechometha ou pantōs) [[a] judicial decision, v8, RE]!?

Because (gar) we showed cause before (proētiasametha), of both (te) Judeans (Ioudaious) and (kai) Hellenes (Hellēnas), of all (pantas) to be (einai) under (huph’) sin (hamartian)!

Rom. 3:10 (LIT/UBS4) Down according to as (kathōs) it has been written (gegraptai), that (hoti), “There is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) [a] righteous one (dikaios);

but absolutely not (oude) one (heis)!

Rom. 3:11 (LIT/UBS4) There is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) the one (ho) putting [the writing, v10, RE] together (suniōn)!

There is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) the one (ho) searching out (ekzētōn) the (ton) God (theon)!

Rom. 3:12 (LIT/UBS4) All (pantes) reclined out (exeklinan)!

At the same time (hama) they were caused to become useless (ēchreōthēsan)!

There is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) the one (ho) doing (poiōn) benevolence (chrēstotēta), while (heōs) there is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) [a] single one (henos)!

Rom. 3:13 (LIT/UBS4) The (ho) throat (larunx) of them (autōn) [is] [a] burial place (taphos) having been opened up (aneōgmenos).

The (tais) tongues (glōssais) of them (autōn) are beguiling (edoliousan)

Under (hupo) the (ta) lips (cheilē) of them (autōn) [is] poison (ios) of asps (aspidōn).

Rom. 3:14 (LIT/UBS4) The (to) mouth (stoma) of whom (hōn) is fully loaded (gemei) of whining (aras) and (kai) of bitterness (pikrias).

Rom. 3:15 (LIT/UBS4) The (hoi) feet (podes) of them (autōn) [are] keen (oxeis) to pour out (ekcheai) blood (haima).

Rom. 3:16 (LIT/UBS4) In (en) the (tais) ways (hodois) of them (autōn) [are] wreckage (suntrimma) and (kai) affliction (talaipōria).

Rom. 3:17 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [a] way (hodon) of peace (eirēnēs) they absolutely did not know (ouk egnōsan)!

Rom. 3:18 (LIT/UBS4) There is (estin) absolutely not (ouk) [a] fear (phobos) of God (theou) opposite from (apenanti) the (tōn) eyes (ophthalmōn) of them (autōn)!”

(For vv. 10-12 see Ecc. 7:20; Ps.14:2-3, 53:2-3. For vv. 13-18 see Ps. 5:9, 140:3, 10:7; Isa. 59:7-8; Ps. 36:1)

Rom. 3:19 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) we have seen (oidamen) that (hoti) whatever things (hosa) the (ho) law (nomō) says (legei), it speaks (lalei) to the ones (tois) in (en) to the (tō) law (nomō);

in order that (hina) every (pan) mouth (stoma) may be fenced (phragē), and (kai) all (pas) the (ho) cosmos (kosmos) may cause itself to become (genētai) [a] right one under (hupodikos) the (tō) God (theō);

Rom. 3:20 (LIT/UBS4) through the reason that (dioti) out (ex) of works (ergōn) of law (nomou) absolutely not (ou) any (pasa) flesh (sarx) shall be made righteous (dikaiōthesetai) in sight (enōpion) of him (autou)!

Because (gar) through (dia) law (nomou) [is] experiential knowledge (epignōsis) of sin (hamartias).

Rom. 3:21 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) now, at this moment (nuni), apart from (chōris) law (nomou), righteousness (dikaiosunē) of God (theou) has been manifested (pephanerōtai);

it being witnessed to (marturoumenē) under (hupo) [authority, AE] of the (tou) law (nomou) and (kai) of the (tōn) prophets (prophētōn).

Rom. 3:22 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) righteousness (dikaiosunē) of God (theou) [is] through (dia) belief (pisteōs) of Jesus (Iēsou) Christ (Christou), into (eis) all (pantas) the ones (tous) believing (pisteuontas);

because (gar) there is (estin) absolutely not (ou) [an] alternation1293 (diastolē)!

Rom. 3:23 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) all (pantes) have sinned (hēmarton), and (kai) lack (husterountai) the (tēs) glory (doxēs) of the (tēs) God (theou);

Rom. 3:24 (LIT/UBS4) they are ones being made righteous (dikaioumenoi) gratuitously (dōrean) [through, RE] the (tē) grace (chariti) of him (autou), through (dia) the (tēs) redemption (apolutrōseōs), the (tēs) [redemption, RE] in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou);

(For examples of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and disciples of Christ Jesus NOT selling or bartering the knowledge and things of God for personal gain, or of NOT accepting money or personal gifts for themselves, but rather working with their own hands to provide for their own personal necessary needs, see Mat. 5:42-48, 10:8; Luke 7:19-22, 41-43; Acts 8:9-24, 18:1-3, 20:33-35; Rom. 3:24, 8:32; 1 Cor. 2:12, 4:12, 4:1-13, 9:3-23, 16:1-4; 2 Cor. 11:7, 12:13-19; Eph. 4:28; 1 Thes. 4:11-12; 2 Thes. 3:6-12; 1 Tim. 3:3; Titus 1:11; 3 John 1:6-7; Rev. 21:6, 22:17)

Rom. 3:25 (LIT/UBS4) whom (hon) the (ho) God (theos) caused himself to plan before (proetheto) [to be] [a] reconciler (hilastērion) through (dia) the (tēs) belief (pisteōs) in (en) the (tō) blood (haimati) of him (autou);

into (eis) [an] indication (endeixin) of the (tēs) righteousness (dikaiosunēs) of him (autou) through (dia) the (tēn) pardon (paresin) of the (tōn) sins (hamartēmatōn) having come to pass before (progegonotōn), in (en) the (tē) self-restraint (anochē) of the (tou) God (theou);

(Both the God and his son Christ Jesus are referred to as saviors by the apostles. The clear distinction the holy scriptures make between the roles of the two is that the God prepared the plan and the schematic for our salvation (Heb. 3:1-4; Rom. 3:23-25; Eph. 1:7-9; Luke 1:47; 1 Tim. 1:1, 2:3, 4:10; 2 Tim. 1:9; Tit. 1:2-3, 2:10, 3:4; Jude 1:25, Rev. 7:10), while Christ Jesus, who caused himself to follow God’s plan and schematic, caused himself to become God’s enabling one, or instrument of our salvation (Heb. 5:9; Luke 2:11; John 4:42; Acts 5:31, 13:23; Eph. 5:23; Phil. 3:20; 2 Tim. 1:10; Tit. 1:2-4, 2:13, 3:6; 2 Pet. 1:1, 1:11, 2:20, 3:2, 18; 1 John 4:14).

Rom. 3:26 (LIT/UBS4) toward (pros) the (tēn) indication (endeixin) of the (tēs) righteousness (dikaiosunēs) of him (autou) in (en) the (tō) time (kairō) now (nun) into (eis) the one (to) to be (einai) [made righteous, AE];

he (auton) [being] righteous (dikaion) and (kai) he making righteous (dikaiounta) the one (ton) out (ek) of [the one’s, AE] belief (pisteōs) of Jesus (Iēsou).

Rom. 3:27 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), where (pou) [is] the (hē) boasting (kauchēsis)

It was closed out (exekleisthē)

Through (dia) which (poiou) law (nomou), the (tōn) [Law, RE] of Works (ergōn)

Absolutely not (ouchi)

BUT (alla), through (dia) Law (nomou) of Belief (pisteōs)!

Rom. 3:28 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) we are caused to count3049 (logizometha) [a] mortal (anthrōpon) to be made righteous (dikaiousthai) for belief (pistei), apart from (chōris) works (ergōn) of law (nomou).

Rom. 3:29 (LIT/UBS4) Or (ē) [is] [God, RE] the (ho) God (theos) of Judeans (Ioudaiōn) only (monon), [and, AE] absolutely not (ouchi) of ethnic groups (ethnōn) also (kai)

Yes (nai), of ethnic groups (ethnōn) also (kai)!

Rom. 3:30 (LIT/UBS4) If so be it (eiper) the (ho) God (theos) [is] [the] one (heis) who (hos) shall make righteous (dikaiōsei) [a] circumcised one (peritomēn) out (ek) of belief (pisteōs) [of him, AE], and (kai) [a] prepuced one (akrobustian) through (dia) the (tēs) belief (pisteōs) [of him, AE],

Rom. 3:31 (LIT/UBS4) therefore (oun), do we idle down2673 (katargoumen) law (nomon) through (dia) [the sake, AE] of the (tēs) belief (pisteōs)

May it not cause itself to come to pass (mē genoito)

BUT (alla), law (nomon) we stand (histanomen)!
